MyMedicare Statuses in Patient Details
A patient's MyMedicare registration status depends on several factors.
| Scenario | Status Badge | Message |
|---|---|---|
| If the patient is registered for MyMedicare with your practice | Registered for MyMedicare | This patient is registered with MyMedicare. Their registration is complete and active. |
| If the patient is registered for MyMedicare with another practice | Registered for MyMedicare | MyMedicare registration is complete and active with a provider at another practice. Ask the patient to register with this practice instead. |
| If the patient's details are incorrect or do not match those held by Medicare | Ineligible for MyMedicare | The patient’s details are incorrect or mismatched. Please advise the patient to contact Medicare and update their details. |
| Patient is deceased | Ineligible for MyMedicare | The patient is deceased and no further action can be taken. Advise the patient’s family to contact Medicare for assistance. |
| If the practice organisation's site status is inactive or ineligible | Any one of the following status will display based on the patient's
conditions:

| If the patient has not met service requirements | Ineligible for MyMedicare | The patient has not met the required number of eligible services. Please advise the patient to visit a doctor at this practice in order to become eligible. |
| If the patient is eligible for MyMedicare registration but is not registered | Eligible for MyMedicare | This patient is eligible for MyMedicare registration. Please advise the patient to initiate their registration process. |
| If the patient's MyMedicare registration is pending with your practice | MyMedicare Registration pending | This patient's MyMedicare registration is in progress. Please check back later or follow up if necessary. |
| If the patient's MyMedicare registration is pending with another practice | MyMedicare Registration pending | This patient’s MyMedicare registration is pending with a provider not associated with this practice. Please notify the patient to register with this practice instead. |
| If you encounter an unexpected error | Any one of the following statuses may be displayed based on the
patient's situation:
