Delete an Allergy
If a patient's allergies are recorded incorrectly or are no longer relevant, you can delete the allergy record.
About this task
Procedure
To delete a patient's allergy:

In the patient's
record, locate and click
Check For Allergies / Adverse Reactions at the top of
the window.

In the
Allergies / Adverse Reactions section, locate the
allergy you want to delete and click
Delete.
- In the Remove allergy confirmation panel, click Remove.
Results
The deleted allergy is displayed with a strike
through, including Removed status in the section.


Tip:
If any patient's allergy
or adverse reaction is deleted during their consultation, it is displayed in the
existing consultation. Otherwise, a new consultation is created automatically to
display the deleted allergy.
