- Health Summary
  Information entered by a practitioner during a consult is added to a patient's Health Summary.
- Consultations
  Record details of a clinical consultation in the Consult panel of the patient's record.
- Patient Timeline
  A summary of the patient's clinical history is displayed in the Patient Timeline.
  - Patient Timeline Filters and Icons
    Use filters in the patient timeline to display only particular types of records, making it easier to refer to the information you need.
  - Print Items from the Patient Timeline
    Print selected types of records from the patient's clinical history in the Patient Timeline.
  - View Medication Changes in the Patient Timeline
    In the Patient timeline, review the medication changes that have been recorded during a patient's consultation.
- Medications
  Helix uses the MDref medications database provided by AusDI.
- Immunisations
  Before you administer an immunisation to a patient, check the immunisations that have already been administered on the AIR and the immunisations due.
- Allergies
  A patient's allergies can be added to their record.
- Chronic Disease Management
  Use the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) feature to specify care plans, cycle of care for asthma or diabetes, and GP Mental Health Treatment Plans.
- History & Examinations
  Record details of a patient's clinical history in the History section. Record details of today's examination of a patient in the Examination section.
- Measurements and Assessments
  Record metabolic, pathology and ECG measurements and other assessments in the patient's record as required.
- Recalls
  A Recall is a type of flag recorded against a patient's record that informs practitioners and practice staff of when the patient is due to return to the practice.
- Nursing Requests
  During a consult, add a request for a nurse to complete a nursing action.
- Obstetrics
  Record obstetrics information on the Obstetrics panel.
- Investigations
  Investigations can be requested by a practitioner from within a patient's clinical record.
- Tasks
  The tasks module allows users to send messages (tasks) to other users throughout the medical centre.
- My Health Record
  Securely upload a patient's health data to their My Health Record.

A summary of the patient's clinical history is displayed in the Patient Timeline.

Permissions:

View Timeline
View Patient

Users with the required permissions can view a summary of the patient's clinical history in the Patient Timeline icon Patient Timeline. Additional permissions are required to view consult notes, letters and nursing requests.

Display a

Patient Timeline by selecting a patient from the queue, or after selecting a patient.
Patient Timeline example

All past history is displayed in the patient timeline by default. Optionally, filter the items displayed in the Patient Timeline. In the Show filter, select the type of item you want to display. For example, Prescriptions.
