Release Claims

You can release the required claim items from draft status to follow up or invoiced status.

Release the required claim items from WC tab.

Procedure

To release claims:
  1. Select Claiming, Banking, and Payments IconClaiming, Banking, and Payments > WC from the main menu.

  2. In the WC tab, select Draft from the list.

    It displays the patient's claims list.

  3. Hover your mouse over an item that you want to release, select the checkbox, and then click Release ButtonRelease.
    • If an item displays FA (First Available) in the checkbox field, it indicates that a HCP was not assigned to this patient:
      • To assign a HCP, click the row and assign a HCP in the Visit panel. Then, the claim item can be released.
    • Total field displays the total amount $ for the selected items at the top of the panel.

Results

All items selected for release are removed from the list and sent to the Follow Up Claims or Invoiced Claims lists.
