Create an Event Summary

Create an Event Summary and upload it to My Health Record.

About this task

You can create an event summary from the My Health Recordpanel.

Procedure

To create and upload an Event Summary:
  1. Open the patient's clinical record.
  2. In the Health Summary iconHealth Summary, click My Health Record icon in Health SummaryMy Health Record.
  3. In the My Health Record panel, to create an Event Summary, click Create then select Event Summary from the Select Summary list.

    Note:
    The Share Health Summary is selected by default.
  4. Information from the patient's clinical record is listed. Select information you want to include or deselect information you want to exclude. To deselect all options in a section, click None Supplied .

  5. Read the three statements at the bottom of the panel.
  6. To view the Event Summary before sending or uploading it, click Preview.
  7. Click Upload.
  8. Alternatively, to send the Eevent Summary to a recipient, click Send as SMD.
    In the Send as SMD section:
    1. Enter a recipient and location.
    2. Click Send & Upload to send to the recipient and upload the Event Summary to My Health Record or Send to just upload the Event Summary.

Results

The new Event Summary is added to the list on the View panel.
