- User Management
  Everyone who needs to access Helix should be added as a user and assigned to a role. Permissions to access various parts of Helix are assigned to roles. The permissions assigned determine what each user can access in Helix.
- Centre Settings
  Information about each centre is managed in Centre Settings. Where you can add, edit, or clone the centres, and view the inactive centres.
- Immunisation Schedule Management
  Create a new immunisation schedule, edit the schedule and activate it.
- Template Management
  All templates used in the Letter Writer are managed from the Template Management system.
  - Edit a Template
    Edit HTML templates and add custom fields.
  - Create A New Template Using a Blank Template
    Create a new template from scratch, using a blank template.
  - Create a New Template From a File
    Create a new template by uploading a file.
  - Create a New Template by Cloning an Existing Template
    If the new template you need is similar to an existing template, clone that template and edit the clone to create a new template.
  - Template Favourites
    Flag a frequently-used template as a favourite.
  - Delete a Template
    Delete templates that are no longer used.
  - Download a Template
    Download a .JSON version of a template file.
  - Supplied Templates
    Use the supplied templates in the Letter Writer.
- Preferences
  Enable ePrescribing, RTPM and set your display preferences.
- Abbreviations
  Abbreviations are essentially frequently used text inserted into a patient's consult using keystrokes.
- Certificates
  PKI certificates are required by many businesses for maintaining access to digital health tools including electronic prescribing and My Health Record.
- Active Directory User Management
  The Active Directory User Management page allows you to create new users in Helix, or assign access to existing users.
- Audits
  Use the Audit log to check user access, reauthentication, and any changes made to your patient's personal records.
- Migration to Helix
  Helix uses a FHIR-based tool to migrate your MedicalDirector Clinical data using an iterative approach.

Template Favourites

Flag a frequently-used template as a favourite.

When creating a letter based on a template, you have the opportunity to flag the template as a favourite, by clicking

Favourite. This icon acts as an on/off toggle.
Example Favourite button

When you next go to create a new letter, the favourite will appear in your Favourites list.
