Unlock Helix
If there has not been any activity detected for a defined period, Helix is locked automatically for security reasons, to keep your data safe.
Helix is automatically locked after 15 minutes of inactivity by default.

Tip:
If you have
the Update Users permission, you can configure the inactivity
timeout period for your organisation in . For example, to extend the timeout from 15 minutes (by default) to 2
hours if required to minimise disruption, select 2 hours from the
Select user inactivity timeout list and click
Save.

Note:
The session timeout is capped at 2 hours to comply with the ADHA
My Health Record Security conformance profile. This is a mandatory ADHA requirement and
not a Helix preference.
Note:
If you have Helix running in more than one
standard tab or window, if you are actively using Helix in at least one tab, the
system won't be locked for any tabs.
If
there is no user activity within the configured timeout period, Helix automatically logs the user
out. Users must then log back into Helix to continue.
