Testing the Vectraplex ECG in Clinical

Before you begin

Procedure

  1. From within the Clinical Window, select Tools > Tool Box > > Electrocardiogram. The ECG tab appears.
  2. Click Record to enter the appropriate patient values for this test.
    • The Available ECG Machines window is displayed if more than one device is installed. Select the device you wish to use from this window.
  3. A window appears prompting you to connect the Vectraplex ECG unit to the computer. Click OK when ready.
  4. Once the ECG has been loaded, it automatically opens the ECG in the third-party software. You can then view the ECG and add any comments required.
  5. After you have finished viewing, close the software and you are prompted to save the ECG to the Clinical database.
  6. The date can be modified if the ECG was recorded on a different date than what is shown. A description for the ECG result can be entered. When all this information is correct click Save
